Extra Curricular Activities

Our school takes learning beyond the classroom, providing outstanding opportunities and helping to develop your child’s confidence, self esteem and independence.

We have excellent and successful co-curricular programs in:

  • Sport – zone competitions, carnivals leading to possible representation at regional and state level, state-wide knockout competitions, gala days for Year 7.
  • The Creative and Performing Arts - in music – stage, concert bands and choral groups, drama – musicals and theatre sports, dance ensembles, and visual arts – annual festival of arts.
  • Inter-school debating.
  • Academic competitions in English, Mathematics, Science and Computing.
  • The Duke of Edinburgh program provides challenging experiences that will develop team work, resilience, concern for others, life-long learning.
  • Fiesta Day – promoting cultural harmony and awareness.

There are also extensive opportunities to develop leadership skills with involvement in student representative bodies such as Prefects and Student Representative Council, peer support, house captaincy, pastoral care group leaders.
