The Library Resource Centre at Turramurra High School facilitates and supports quality teaching and learning experiences for 21stcentury learners. It is where students in all years of schooling develop their inquiry, thinking and imagination skills. Our Library Resource Centre positively assists in the growth of every student’s learning capacity.
The Turramurra High School Library resource Centre contributes to the development of an informed society by providing students with the skills to acquire, organise, use and analyse knowledge. The Library Resource Centre is therefore, vital within the teaching and learning environment of our school community.
The teacher librarian, Ms Sally Lusher-Main, is an integral partner in our school’s teaching and learning team and actively contributes to our learning targets. Our teacher librarian develops partnerships in learning between the teaching staff, students and the school community by educating and through managing information.
The Turramurra High School Library Resource Centre is open to students before and after school and at lunch time.
Library Resource Centre hours:
Monday: 8am - 4pm
Tuesday: 8am - 2:30
Wednesday: 8am - 8:15 am, then 9:40 am - 4pm
Thursday: 8:am - 4pm
Friday: 8am - 3pm
Mondays & Wednesdays 3pm to 4pm
